- Voice Recordings: When you provide a voice sample, we process it to create your voice clone. We do not store or use your voice data for any other purpose.
- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your name and email address.
- Story Content: PDFs you upload, library books you select, and stories you create with our AI are used only to generate your audiobooks and are never used for any other purpose.
- Story Prompts: When you create a custom story, the preferences you provide (age range, character name, subject, mood, setting, ending, and any free-text idea) are sent to our AI provider to generate the story. They are not stored beyond the current session.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data to improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create personalized audiobooks using your voice
- To process your account and token transactions
- To improve and optimize our service
- To communicate with you about your account
- To generate custom stories, your story prompts are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini). They are used only to produce the story and are not retained by Storydio beyond the current session.
4. Data Security
We take data security seriously. Your voice recordings are processed securely and used solely to create your requested voice clones. We do not sell or rent your voice data and do not use it to train public AI models.
